Jesse Torre

Jesse Torre is a versatile flamenco guitarist whose musical path weaves through flamenco, classical, and a wide range of world music traditions. His journey has been shaped by study with respected artists including classical and flamenco guitarist Angel Lejarza Leo and virtuoso Jason McGuire “El Rubio.” He also trained closely with Emmy Award–winning dancer and choreographer Yaelisa of Caminos Flamencos, an experience that deepened his understanding of the powerful relationship between guitar, dance, and song.
A graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music, Jesse studied under renowned classical guitarist Nicholas Goluses, earning his degree with Distinction as well as a Performer’s Certificate in recognition of his artistic excellence.
Throughout his career, Jesse has collaborated with some of the finest flamenco and world musicians in the Bay Area and beyond. He has performed alongside celebrated artists such as two-time Grammy-winning guitarist Antonio Rey, legendary flamenco singers Juan Murube and Amparo Heredia, as well as Bay Area icons including Carola Zertuche of Theater Flamenco, Melissa Cruz, Marina Elana of Flamenco Arts International, and Grammy-winning violinist Mads Tolling.
In the duo Caminos & Torre, Jesse joins forces with master guitarist Carlos Caminos to explore a vibrant fusion of styles, blending flamenco, joropo, classical, and contemporary influences. Their performances range from intimate house concerts to large-scale productions, always rooted in spontaneity, communication, and musical depth.
Jesse’s artistry has been featured at distinguished spaces such as the Legion of Honor, the California Academy of Sciences, Club Fox, The Sound Room, and the Fillmore Jazz Festival, to name a few.
Beyond the stage, Jesse is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of musicians. Through one-on-one instruction offered across California and throughout the United States, he brings the same passion, discipline, and artistic integrity to teaching that he brings to performance—guiding students to develop not only strong technique, but a genuine voice of their own
